Warner Dewey



Warner Dewey represents Hinsdale County. He is a retired physician.

Dr. Dewey acquired his interest in water issues through his friendship with former River District Board member Robert Spears, and took his seat on the River District Board when Mr. Spears moved from the county.

Dr. Dewey retired as a urologist. His career included stints in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. His work included time as a diving medical officer for a submarine squadron and chief of urology at Fort Carson.

His private practice included stops in North Dakota, Nebraska and Colorado Springs. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Urology and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Dewey's term expires January 2013.
